SUSTAINABILITY BY ACTION
Surplus wood is used for heating
All Andersen furniture is made in Europe. The majority of their products are manufactured at their own factory in Denmark. Here they produce long-lasting quality furniture according to Danish environmental legislation.
At their headquarter, they use the remaining wood to heat up the buildings. Cardboard and plastic are sorted and recycled after use. They aim to design products that can be flat packed, so they can minimize the packaging material. In this way, they reduce their impact on the environment and lower the use of CO2.
HOSPITALITY
Innovative ideas and a good investment
We like the new ways the Andersen look at the design, for instance, the Andersen U1Â stool which is made from solid ash and is fitted with patent locking brackets in stainless steel. Like the old bottles, it gives an impression of the ability to be reused. Hotels can add special decor with Andersen items.
